Specialist Electrical Contractors pty ltd is a fairly new company with a long history.  Managing Director, Kevin Sheahan commenced his apprenticeship way back in 1970!

 

After more than a decade in the trade including several years as an Electrical Contractor, Kevin achieved his goal of becoming a Trade Teacher - this kept him busy for another decade teaching Apprentices and Industrial Electronics.

 

 

Several managerial roles later, he decided to go back to his roots (and back to the books to sit the latest electrical licensing exam in 2005). 

 

Kevin’s key objective is to achieve

business sustainability and growth through provision of high quality,

value for money service to quality conscious, value led customers. 

 

Being strategically located near Melbourne’s industrial heartland and key highways means that Specialist Electrical Contractors can service a large part of Metropolitan Melbourne quickly and efficiently.

 

As far as we know, Trevor Sheahan is the only person in the electrical industry who is also a fully qualified Plastics Technician. 

 

Trevor has a Certificate III in Process Manufacturing (Injection Moulding),

a Certificate IV in Polymer Technology and a Diploma of Engineering (Polymer Technology).

Roger Pysden Memorial Fellowship (travelling scholarship)

Trevor is now excelling as he carves out a new career direction in the electrical industry.  For 2006, he was runner up 1st year Apprentice of the Year awarded by Workco Ltd
